Move Player With Game Loop

I want my player to have a walking animation. I don't know if I can make this happen but it would enhance my game a lot and would make it looker better. I think there is coding for it, but I'm not completely sure.

    I find that walking animation adds to the game because movement on the screen makes the game less bland.
